Holy Water
Why do we have it and why do we bless ourselves with it? This Easter we were over joyed to once again fill our baptismal font with water that was blessed at the Easter Vigil. As we enter and leave the church we pause to bless ourselves with the holy water to be reminded of our baptism.

Easter Candle
The Easter candle, lit for the first time from the new fire of the Easter Vigil, is placed in a prominent place in the sanctuary between Easter and Pentecost and should be lighted for all liturgical services in this season and should be incensed whenever incense is used in the fifty days.
