One tradition is the bury the Alleluia during Lent. You can create your own banner at home or print this one to color and store away for Lent. Don't forget to keep it as we will get the Alleluia back out for Easter. |

For February please join us for prayer, discussion and a video featuring Dr. Carole Eipers. Carole is a longtime faith formation leader, writer, speaker, and consultant. She shares an inspirational message about our role in the Reign of God. Sessions will be held Wednesday, February 24 at 8:30 pm or Sunday, February 28 at 6 pm. Please note we are trying a later time on Wednesday to give more options to parents with young children.

Sunday Gospel Reflections
A great way to prepare for Sunday Mass is to read and reflect on, or discuss with your household, the Sunday readings. Even if a person doesn't get to the readings ahead of time, reflecting on them during the week following Mass can be a great way to live out the message we have heard proclaimed.
Below are short reflections on the readings for the next four Sundays. These are great tools for personal prayer and reflection, and also great tools to help lead a discussion about the readings among the members of your household.

Parish Connection
Cards of Caring
At Faith Formation this month, we had a scavenger hunt to look for things we can use to help people, and Jenni talked about her crayons. She said she could use her crayons to draw a picture for someone we can’t visit right now. We have some people right here in our parish who could use a little boost to brighten their day. They are isolated and can’t leave their homes right now because it’s too hard to get around. Some have to stay home so they don’t catch Covid. And some just don’t have family nearby to keep them company. We invite you to send them cards. You can make homemade cards or buy them. Write them a note to tell them that you are thinking of them and praying for them. Young members can draw a picture. Watch the weekly e-newsletter for a list of parishioners we will be sending cards to or email Jenni to get the list. When they’re ready, drop your cards off at the parish when you come to Mass or between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. on weekdays, and we will deliver them to the recipients. Thank you for showing you care and sharing your love!
